Ferry County PUD CETA Energy Assistance

If you are a low-income household with an electric energy burden of 6% or greater, you may qualify for our CETA Energy Assistance Program. Eligibility is determined by household size, income, and energy burden. The account with Ferry County PUD must be in your name and be your primary residence. Proof of income is required for all household members and ID is required for everyone living in the household. Application forms can be downloaded here and are available at the District office at 686 S. Clark Ave in Republic.

Applications will be accepted from October 1st through November 15th, 2025. After completing the application, please call 509-775-3325 to arrange an appointment and have the supporting documentation in hand. Depending on your energy burden, a one-time credit will be applied to your account.

Low Income Senior Discount

To qualify for a reduction in the monthly basic charge on your electric utility bill for your primary residence, you must be 62 years of age or older and be low-income. For income limits or additional information, please contact Traci at tsheffield@fcpud.com.

Rural Resources Community Action Energy Programs

The Federally funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides low-income households residing in Ferry, Stevens, Lincoln, and Pend Oreille Counties with heating assistance one time per year.  Funding is limited and applying does not guarantee you will receive an appointment.

Okanogan County Community Action Council Energy and Utility Assistance Program

Offering energy assistance programs to low income households in Okanogan County with the goal of keeping community residents safe and warm. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low income homeowners or renters with their heating bills and heating system repair costs. Qualifying households receive benefits of $25 – $1000 toward their primary heat source of wood, pellets, propane, oil, or electric heat. The LIHEAP Program typically runs from November through May, or as funds remain available.
